My husband, Jeff Mills, is a captain with the Los Angeles City Fire Department. He is currently at Fire Station 71's on Sunset Blvd, near UCLA. He has been a firefighter for 26 years and has loved every day of it! We've been married for 28 years and I've loved every day of that! Like most firemen, he's very modest..so just know the "bragging" is from a wife and family that is very proud of him!

May 22, 2002- In a special ceremony, Jeff, Kenny and Mark were awarded a special commendation for a physical rescue they performed in which a construction worker was the victim of a cave-in. First to arrive on scene, they found the victim buried to the top of his head. The worker was eventually safely extricated and transported to a hospital.
