I
teach elementary school in the Las Virgenes School District in
Agoura Hills, California. Both my son and I are UCLA alumni- Go
Bruins! Our city is a bedroom community; a suburb of Los Angeles.
We are located in the rolling foothills of the beautiful Santa
Monica Mountains, about 20 minutes inland from Malibu. I've been
married to my husband Jeff, an LAFD Captain, for 31 years and
we have two amazingly wonderful children (hardly children anymore)
Justin and Jessica.

If
you've done any exploring of my site you'll know that I am a big admirer of country
graphics. Not being an artist myself, but fancying that I have an eye for what
looks good, I really enjoy putting together my website. I've dabbled with Paint
Shop Pro as you can see by my PSP pages, but I'm only as good as the "tube"
I'm using!
Besides
the hours I spend on my computer, I enjoy taking hikes in the
local mountains with my husband and our two Golden Retrievers,
Dylan and Kali, enjoying "kitty time" with our two cats,
Hunter and Hayley, going to the beach, traveling to our favorite
places like La Jolla, Carmel, and Yosemite, and eating in our
favorite restaurants, like Roys (on the 17 Mile Drive and in La
Jolla) and The Cheesecake Factory. I also love collecting things.
I am a big fan of cows as you can see by my "Awards Page."
I love collecting fun and interesting fonts. I also have an extensive
Department 56 collection that I will be displaying photos of on
this site when the holiday season rolls around. I collect "Christmas
in the City," "North Pole," and "New England
Village."

I've
recently become addicted to Internet adoptables- I especially love the bears created
by Mary of Mary's Little Lamb, and Jackie of Jackie's Graphics. I'm extremely
fond of cows and ladybugs and you will find entire pages devoted to them. I've
also recently acquired a taste for "Ginger Dolls" and they too have
their own house to reside in. The best thing about all of them, besides all the
interesting people I've met through collecting them, is that unlike almost everything
else I collect, they are unbreakable! That's especially good when you are a Southern
California native and have lived in earthquake country all your life!
So,
that concludes this lesson and there won't even be a test! I'm
going to end this page with a few links to some of my favorite
things that I've mentioned that you may find fun to explore! And
please visit my next "Teacher"
page if you are interested in educational related information
and great links.
