Fa La La La La, La La La La!
After Thanksgiving, Jeff and I began decking the halls. We put up the Christmas tree and one of our Department 56 villages: Christmas in the City. We’ll do the North Pole Collection in the next day or two. We won’t put up the New England Village because that one we put on the floor under our big Welsh Cupboard and it’s not wise with Ryan running around. Too much temptation. So far, he’s been really good with the Christmas tree. Kalani, our tree climber, has been good too. I think he remembers us spraying him with the canned air. I was going to add photos but most of you have seen them before but if anyone wants to see our Christmas things again, then hop on over and visit my Christmas Cottage HERE. The link is in my Navigation menu, too. Ryan enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner and Jacob was dazzling us with big smiles. Photos to follow. He’s been smiling for a week or two now so he’s definitely an early smiler. I’m going over to Jessica’s this morning to stay with Jacob while Ryan has an appointment to go to. I’m hoping to get in a little online Cyber-Monday shopping. Here are the photos…

Don’t you think this is a good smile for only 2 months?

Hi Darylynn;
I do miss my Dept. 56 Charles Dickens village this time every year. I can’t believe it’s been 4 1/2 years since I gave it away.
Your grandchildren are adorable. That’s a great smile on Jacob. He looks like he’s going to be a happy easy going boy. I can just imagine their looks of wonder when they first saw your tree and villages all lit up.
Have a great day my friend. Hugs

That is a great smile for two months! Gorgeous boys, both of them. I have had to change my way of decorating slightly because of The Girl. That said, she’s been pretty good with the first tree, left it alone after ‘helping’ to decorate (she was putting baubles on in a straight line, and each time she turned away, I was taking them off again!).
Have a great start to the week. xxxx

Love the cute pics of your beautiful boys. What a beautiful smile from Jake….he’s getting so big already, certainly not a newborn now. Looks like Ryan enjoyed his Thanksgiving tucker. Hope your on-line shopping was fruitful.
BTW….many thanks for the cows. You’re not going to believe it, but all my new cows were missing by this afternoon and my first golden chicken went missing with them! I thought I’d Google to see if others are also losing stuff only to find some people have lost everything on their farms including their coins. Made me thankful I only lost 4 dairies and a golden chicken then.
Hope your week goes well. ((((hugs)))

Hi darylynn, cute pictures. I plan to post some tongiht. Jacob will be a smiler for sure. Jazmyn smiles for several people at church yesterday. She was fussy in the later afternoon and crying a lot. I wonder if she is teeting already. Renee and Eddie got their first tooth at 4 months. So do you have a new stocking up for Jacob? We plan to get ours up soon. Enjioy the warm weather today. Hugs

Darling smile. Good looking little fellows too.
Hope your day with Ryan is great.
Auntie Joy’s carrots were a huge success. So much so that most went home with the recipe.
I also found that using the mayo and the horse radish and crumbs in making salmon patties is also delicious!
Thanks for the recipe.
